LED & Video Wall Solutions
Make the most of your space with a display designed around what people need to see.
A large display can welcome visitors, bring a presentation to life, help teams interpret information or become a defining feature of a building.
Getting it right means considering the whole environment: the content, the audience, the viewing distance and how the system will be used and supported.
Collab AV designs, installs and supports LED displays and LCD video walls around your requirements. From a reception feature to a presentation space or operational display, we help you choose a solution that makes sense for your people, your building and your budget.

Start with what the display needs to achieve
An impressive screen only creates value when people can see and use it effectively.
A reception display may need to communicate your brand from across an open space. A presentation screen needs to make detailed content readable from different seats. An operational video wall may need to show several sources of information clearly throughout the working day.
Each has different requirements.
We start by understanding what you want to show, who will be looking at it and how the space works. That helps us recommend the right display technology, size, resolution and supporting systems before you commit to equipment.
LED display or LCD video wall?
Both can create a large visual surface. The right choice depends on the application, the room and the investment you want to make.
Direct-view LED displays
Direct-view LED uses LED modules to form the display surface. With no LCD panel bezels dividing the image, it can create a continuous visual canvas for presentations, brand content and large-format communication.
Depending on the system selected, LED can suit standard presentation formats or more bespoke dimensions. All-in-one options can also provide a practical approach where a defined screen size meets the requirement.
We’ll help you assess the resolution, brightness and pixel pitch—the spacing between the LEDs—against the content and the distance from which people will view it.
LCD video walls
LCD video walls combine professional display panels into a larger arrangement. They can be a suitable option for information displays, monitoring applications and spaces where a regular panel layout meets the brief.
The joins between panels remain part of the design. We consider how those joins affect your content, alongside image consistency, viewing angles, mounting and access for servicing.
You do not need to decide between LED and LCD before contacting us. We can talk through the options and explain the practical differences for your project.

Designed for the space and the people using it
A display that works well in one building may be unsuitable for another. We consider the details that affect both the viewing experience and the installation.
Viewing distance and content
Detailed spreadsheets, presentation slides and dashboard information place different demands on a screen from video or large brand imagery. We consider the nearest and furthest viewers, the level of detail they need to see and the display’s position within the room.
Light, brightness and comfort
Daylight, reflections and room lighting all influence visibility. We select an appropriate brightness level for the environment so the content remains clear and comfortable to view.
Structure, power and access
The physical installation needs planning from the outset. We assess mounting requirements, supporting structures, cabling, power, ventilation and how engineers will reach the system for maintenance.
For new builds and refurbishments, we can coordinate these requirements with your IT, facilities, design and construction teams.
Control and content sources
The display must be straightforward to use. Whether you need to show one presentation, scheduled content or several sources of information, we plan the processing, connectivity and controls around the task.

Large displays for different environments
Reception areas and client spaces
Create a clear focal point for visitors with welcome information, company content or a visual feature that complements the building. We consider how the display looks within the space as well as what it shows.
Meeting rooms, boardrooms and presentation spaces
Bring people and shared content into view with a display suited to the room layout and meeting requirements. Where conferencing is involved, we consider the wider audio, camera and control setup too.

Operational and monitoring environments
Present dashboards, live information or multiple sources in a layout that helps teams understand what they are seeing. We discuss operating hours, source management and the level of resilience and support the environment requires.
Education, public spaces and visitor destinations
Support presentations, information sharing and visual storytelling with displays designed around the audience, the content and the building. Clear visibility, practical operation and ongoing support remain central to the design.

When the display becomes part of a wider experience
Sometimes the brief extends beyond a single screen.
A reception wall may need to work alongside other displays throughout a building. A visitor destination may combine large visual surfaces with interactive content and wayfinding. An architectural project may call for content to move across several display zones in a coordinated way.
These projects bring display engineering, software, content and spatial design together.
Our Integrated AV Experiences offering explores this wider approach, including architectural display integration, coordinated visual environments and digital wayfinding.

If your priority is keeping messages current across individual screens or multiple locations, our Digital Signage page explains how we can help with content management and everyday communication.

From initial planning to a system your team can use
We help turn an initial idea into a practical specification, starting with your objectives and an assessment of the space.
The design brings together the display, mounting, processing, connectivity and controls. We also discuss content requirements, installation dependencies and ongoing support so these are considered before work begins.
Following installation, we configure and commission the system against the agreed requirements. Handover includes guidance for the people operating it and the documentation needed to support the finished installation.
We can also discuss maintenance, fault response and future changes, with the service scope agreed around the system and its importance to your organisation.

Why Choose Collab AV?

Frequently Asked Questions
Do we need an LED wall, or could a large commercial display be enough?
A single professional display may meet your needs. We can compare that option with LED and LCD video walls based on the required size, content, viewing distance and budget.
Can you help before we know the screen size or specification?
Yes. Tell us what you want the display to achieve and where it will be used. Photographs, approximate dimensions and examples of the content can help us start the conversation.
Can a video wall show several sources at once?
With suitable processing and source connections, it can. We’ll discuss what you need to show, how layouts should change and who will control them.
How much does an LED or video wall installation cost?
The cost depends on the display size and technology, resolution, mounting, processing and installation requirements. We’ll help define the brief and explain the proposed scope so you can assess the investment properly.
Can you replace or upgrade an existing video wall?
We can assess the existing installation and identify what may be suitable to retain. Display condition, mounting, infrastructure and compatibility all need to be considered before recommending an upgrade.
